HiMARC - Post-Graduate Recruitment

Client: Heroes In Mind, Advocacy and Research Consortium (HIMARC)

Context:

HiMARC is seeking to attract and recruit talented postgraduate students. Working with HiMARC we developed a series of videos for their funnel strategy to recruit specific candidates. The first video was designed for broad reach around the impact of HiMARCโ€™s work, and presenting how โ€œyouโ€ could make a difference with them. This would help filter new applicants into a group who already share the same view as HiMARC. The second video is positioned around the Director of HiMARC, Suzette Bremault-Phillip, and her vision for the world they hope to create with their research. If a candidate resonates with this vision video, then we know they have a strong alignment with HiMARCโ€™s work and this is a positive fit for both parties.

Goal: Understand the key targets for HiMARCโ€™s recruitment needs, speak directly to them in our videos, and enforce HiMARCโ€™s values to test new candidates against.

Markโ€™s video is the #5 most successful video on the University of Alberta Rehabilitation Medicine YouTube Page (out of 143 videos.)

Suzetteโ€™s video lives on the front page of the HiMARC website and introduces all new visitors to their project.

Budget: Over $15,000 as a project
