Client: Community Futures Alberta

Context:

When the pandemic began, many Albertan small businesses suffered a crisis of funding due to the global disruption. The Canadian Federal government through Prairies Economic Development Canada (now PrairiesCan) created a funding source for small business loans that was then deployed through the Community Futures Alberta network to those in need. Utilizing the 28 Albertan regional offices, this program was able to deliver financial support at a critical and uncertain time.

Goal: Present the creation and deployment of the RRRF program and show how it helped regional businesses through this difficult time
