2025 - New era, new blog

Happy 2025! A new year, a new beginning.

It’s been a while since I’ve written any kind of blog post. Safe to say the last 5 years in my life have been… a lot. The best way to describe it feels like if you’ve watched Marvel movies when they had a blip, and half the population disappeared. When the blip ended, life went back to normal. It’s almost like there was a wormhole from 2019, that skipped the next 5 years, and has picked up right in 2025.

It might be the historian in me (I have a BA in History), but i’ve come to feel that you can look at periods of time in your life as chapters. And they often aren’t nearly as clean or straightforward as we want them to be. Perhaps there’s a lesson in this.

But maybe that’s the point of life. Maybe it’s a journey we pick up along the way, and we never really have it figured out.

In any regard, I’ve missed writing blog posts and creating content for fun. There’s such a genuine joy in making that makes your whole existence better. Make some things just for yourself (be silly), make some things to share with the world. Having fun with the process and don’t sweat the details. I’m hoping to explore this more.
